The tour starts with city excursion in Ekaterinburg (historical square, city pond, the dam, monument of the city founder: Peter the Great, etc.). Visit to the museum of minerals. Excursion to Romanov Monastery and Ganina Yama (15kms from E’burg), where the family of Nikolai Romanov (former Tsar of Russia) was murdered and buried. Transfer to the town of Nevyansk. Dinner. Overnight stay in Nevyansk hotel, BB. |

Breakfast. Sightseeing tour in Nevyansk (Inclined Tower, Transfiguration Temple). On road to Nizhny Tagil. Lunch in a cafe in Nizhny Tagil. Nizhny Tagil sightseeing tour (Museum of local lore, Fox Mountain, Factory Museum). On road to Katchkanar. Arrival at Katchkanar hotel. Overnight stay at hotel, BB. |

Breakfast. Visit to opencast mine. Departure to Chusovoy by mountain road, crossing border of Ekaterinburg and Perm provinces. Stop at Europe-Asia border obelisk. Hike up to the mount Kolpaki. Arrival Chusovoy, excursion open-air Chusovaya River Historical museum (unique museum, built by one man only). Main themes are Ermak (the conquerer of Siberia, who was from the region) and village life of people from the Chusovaya area in the 18th century. Lunch in a café. Excursion Soviet repression camp (GULAG) "Perm-36". Transfer to the town of Kungur. Overnight stay at hotel, BB. |

Breakfast. Excursion in the famous Kungur Ice Caves. Short sightseeing tour in the centre of Kungur. On route to Belaya Gora, the Ural’s largest monastery. The monastery with its huge golden domes lies on a hill and offers an impressive view over the surrounding green landscape. Lunch in a monastery canteen. Back to Perm. Perm sightseeing tour. Among visits are: Motovilikha open-air museum of war industry, Siberia street, the Chaikovsky Opera & Ballet theatre, Kama river, Diaghilev's mansion, etc. End of the tour. |
