River trips - rafting in the Ural Mountains by catamaran
DO
IT THE RUSSIAN WAY ...
and
go for a 100% adventure on a catamaran river tour in the Ural Mountains!!
Going down a mountain river on a 4-person
catamaran means action - teamwork, navigation, paddling, but also relaxing,
swimming, floating with the current of a meandering mountain river and
enjoying the nature! One loses sense of time while
rafting - passing by wooden villages and endless forest with a hot sun
in the back, cool river water underneath and an absolute serenity apart
from the sounds of the forest. As the sun goes down it is time to find
an open space on the river bank to make a tent camp and relax after the
day's efforts...
The Perm province is Russia's richest area when it comes to rivers.
Over 40 (!) rivers are suitable for river trips - the choice is big.
See below for a number of possibilities...
River tour 1 "The flow
of the River Koiva"
One of the most beautiful and interesting regions in the Perm province
is the one that is occupied by the Koiva river. This relatively small
river originates high in the mountains and is particularly meandering.
The Koiva is one of Prikamye's fastest flowing rivers; taking a catamaran
down the stream is merely a matter of steering and relaxing. The area
through which the river flows is known for its many rocks and caves.
Eventually, the Koiva flows into the large Chusovaya river (which is
the only river that actually crosses the Asian - European border) at
a village called Ustj-Koiva, not far from the major town of Chusovoy.

River tour 2 "Vishera

Those who have more time to spend, can consider a catamaran tour on the

the route, there is no civilisation whatsoever. Discover the northern Urals
